Potentate's Message
Fellow Nobels All!
This will be my last note to you in The Algerian as your 2025 Potentate. I want to start by thanking you all for being Nobels! Being a Nobel and supporting not only Algeria but, just as importantly, the kids in need of our Shriners Hospitals for Children, is a calling that we are all proud of being a part of. Being a part of Algeria as your Potentate has been my distinct pleasure and a memory I will remember until my end of days.
Every club, every event that was put on, every East West Shrine Game dinner, every fundraiser, and every Shrine function that was put on is to be highly commended for the hard work of the Nobels that keeps the Red Fez of a Shriner in the public eye in our communities.
Remember that we have a stated meeting coming up on December 6. This is a very important meeting as all Nobels will be able to attend, vote, and discuss the 2026 budget with your elected Divan representatives. This will be held at 9:00 AM at the CST. The early time is due to consideration of possible football payoff games for both the Grizzly's and the Bobcats. I hope that we have both Montana teams fairing well to represent our great State of Montana. The Red Room will be open Friday night if you are going to come in the night before. We will have some refreshments and nibbles available for you to consume while getting caught up in fellowship with Nobels from all over the Algeria domain.
Make sure that you have January 3, 2026 on your calendar for coming to the Temple to witness the swearing in of your 2026 elected Divan. There will be many festivities in Helena the night before and the day of the Installation of officers, so please grab your ladies and other Nobels from your area and make a plan to attend. Installation of the Divan Officers is always a grand event! More details will be coming from the Algeria office.
I will end my final note to you as I started: Thank-You! I have been honored to be your Potentate and to be a Nobel that has served next to many of you. Onward in your tasks of being honorable Masons and Nobels and Men of your Communities. You are what the Shrine needs right now. Bring a Friend!
Es Selamu Aleikum
