A Distinct Identity

Algeria Shriners International

is located at the Algeria Shrine Temple in Helena, MT and is a recognized temple of Shriners International.

Shriners International is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, truth and relief.

Throughout history both the Freemasons and Shriners have had a reputation for secrecy, but our mission is straightforward. Shriners are committed to:

Being the premier fraternal organization for men of good character

Providing attractive, quality programs and services for its members, their families and their friends in a spirit of fun, fellowship and social camaraderie

Fostering self-improvement through leadership, education, the perpetuation of moral values and community involvement

Serving mankind through the resources of its philanthropy, Shriners Hospitals for Children®.

Shriners Children's Hospital Connecting Families with Life-Changing Care

Algeria Shriners serves as the connection point between Montana families and Shriners Children's Hospital in Spokane, Washington — one of the premier pediatric specialty hospitals in the Northwest. The hospital provides expert care for children up to age 18 with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries, cleft lip and palate, and more.

Cost is never a barrier. Shriners Children's provides all care and services regardless of a family's ability to pay or insurance status. Families who don't have health insurance will have appropriate arrangements made to cover their child's medical care — access to care is not affected by an inability to pay. For more details, visit the Shriners Children's Financial Assistance page.

To start the referral process, contact the Shriners Children's Spokane Intake Office directly:
📞 (509) 623-0431 or 1-888-895-5951
Full contact details at Shriners Children's Spokane. You can also reach us at the Algeria Shrine Temple in Helena at (406) 442-5305.

Community & Fraternal Life Having Fun While Helping Kids

As a Shriner, your mission has two parts: helping children through the Shriners Children's Hospital network, and having fun doing it. Algeria Shriners are a visible part of Montana community life — you'll find us in parades in our famous little cars, sponsoring the Montana East-West All-Star Football Game, and hosting events that bring members, families, and the broader Helena community together throughout the year.
Algeria Shrine Temple is home to a number of clubs and units — groups within the Shrine that share common interests, from ceremonial units to social clubs. They're how members stay connected and active between major events.
There are three ways to get involved:

Join as a MemberAlgeria Shriners is open to men of good character who are Master Masons. Ready to take the next step? Visit BeAShrinerNow.com to learn how.
Make a Donation — You don't have to be a Shriner to support the mission. Donations go directly toward helping children access the care they need.
Volunteer Your Time — Hands on deck are always welcome. Contact us to find out where you can help.  You can reach us at (406) 442-5305 or using the contact form below.
